In the English Department, we have adopted a standard set of grade categories. Each team uses the same categories, and has assigned the same weight to the categories. Based on individual team needs, the teams have autonomy in creating "sub categories" to further divide the categories. These sub categories are listed on the individual team syllabus, and wiki space and are agreed to be uniform within the team.

Reading (35%)
Writing (35%)
Speaking (15%)
Participation (15%)
